Meet the Founder: Abram Swart

AEMS is led by founder Abram Swart, whose approach to engineering and problem-solving was forged in high-stakes, zero-failure environments. Serving as a radar systems technician in the U.S. Army, and later leading research and development operations on advanced GPS spacecraft and missile systems in the aerospace and defense sector, Abram developed a rigorous, systems-first mentality. In those environments, quality control isn't just a metric—it is mission-critical.

Transitioning into the commercial manufacturing sector, Abram served as an Engineering and Quality Control Lead, where he spearheaded a massive "Gen 2" facility renovation. He successfully modernized surface-mount technology (SMT) and automated optical inspection (AOI) lines, overhauled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and implemented live KPI tracking that drastically scaled plant output.

Throughout his career, Abram noticed a recurring problem: manufacturing floors were full of capable machinery, but they were often disconnected, relying on manual data entry, reactive maintenance, and subjective quality control. He founded AEMS to solve exactly that.

Expertise & Engineering Depth

Abram combines deep, hands-on mechanical aptitude with advanced digital capabilities. He is a Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) in both IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards, ensuring that every integration and automated fixture AEMS builds meets the highest benchmarks for reliability. From writing custom C/C++ and Python scripts to designing bespoke embedded hardware with ESP32s and microcontrollers, he builds the bridges between heavy iron and digital dashboards.
